FAQs
What’s the difference between an adventure hat and your regular running caps?
Adventure hats are shaped around trail and multi-hour missions, so they prioritise coverage, durability and comfort under variable conditions. You'll see features like trail-ready fabrics, a tuck-away neck cape for extra coverage, and a silhouette that sits comfortably under packs and layers.
Are adventure hats suitable for multi‑day hikes and travel?
Yes, our adventure-focused caps, buckets and hybrids are packable, quick-drying and comfortable for long wear. They're equally at home on thru-hikes, fastpacking trips or city exploring between runs.
How weather‑resistant are your adventure hats?
The fabrics are chosen to handle changing conditions - breathable and moisture‑wicking with quick-drying performance when you’re caught in showers or working hard uphill. For extreme cold or heavy rain you may still want a dedicated shell or hood, but an adventure hat covers a lot of in‑between.
Can I wash and pack an adventure hat without ruining its shape?
Absolutely. Like our other hats, a cold gentle wash and air dry is best, and the pliable brims mean you can fold or stuff them into a pack without permanent creases. Just reshape the brim and crown when you take it out and let it dry flat.
How much extra sun protection does the neck cape on an adventure hat actually add?
The neck cape extends coverage across your ears and the back of your neck, the areas a standard cap brim leaves exposed. It's tuck-away too, so you can fold it into the hatband on a cooler day and drop it down again once the sun gets serious.
